AiJoshu ("we", "our", "us") is a task management application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Guest mode (no account): All your task data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). We do not collect or store any personal data. No cookies are used for tracking.

Registered users: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture (provided by your OAuth provider). Your tasks and projects are stored in our database to enable sync across devices.

AI features: When you use AI sorting or planning, your task titles and descriptions are sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions. We do not use your data to train AI models.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the AiJoshu service
• To sync your data across devices (registered users)
• To process AI sorting and planning requests
• To process payments through our payment provider
• To send important service notifications (e.g., subscription changes)

4. Third-Party Services

• Authentication: GitHub, Google (OAuth providers)
• AI Processing: OpenAI (via Vercel AI Gateway)
• Payments: lava.top (subscription billing)
• Hosting: Vercel

5. Data Retention

Guest data is stored in your browser until you clear it. Registered user data is retained as long as your account is active. You can export or delete your data at any time from the Settings page.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your personal data. You can do this through the app Settings page or by contacting us.
